Easter Chickens and The Workroom Reopens Sat 11th April

It's been all painting, sunshine...fabric and chickens this week...........perfect!

I hope you've had a lovely Easter break. We've been adding to our chicken flock, the knitted and non knitted varieties! The sunny weather has been so fantastic, it's amazing how much time you can spend just watching chickens when the sun shines.

All week we've been receiving so many lovely deliveries...this gorgeous fabric arrived yesterday...Milk Sugar & Flower by Elea Lutz for PennyRose Fabrics, Floribella by Emily Taylor and Wiltshire Daisy by Carina Gardner.

I'm super excited about tomorrows delivery - Farm Girl Vintage book by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet. You know how much we love these quilt patterns..we've been making the Bee in My Bonnet quilt as a class this year. This new book by Lori Holt is super anticipated all over the world and we are so pleased to be stocking it..it's on its way to us today so we should take delivery Friday and it'll be in the shop on Saturday. Lots of our order is already promised as pre orders so don't miss out and get in early if you want one from the first order.

As well as watching chickens, I've been working hard at The Workroom this week after our building work to get things ship shape.

The shop has had a move round  and a spruce up with a lot more floor space  - you know how busy it gets in there!

We've taken delivery of some lovely new yarns, Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and DMC Natura Just Cotton crochet yarn ahead of our Novice Knitting and Crochet classes this term...such a lovely colourful collection..I can't wait to start playing with them!

The Workroom has had a total transformation.....

The room seems sooo much bigger...I can't wait to run my first class here...

We will be open on Saturday from 10am - 1.30pm so if you're around do come and pop in and say hi. Claire will be running the last of our Teens classes this holiday when the Miss PlainStitchers get let loose on Free Motion Embroidery! I can't wait to see what they make! It's going to be a fittingly super-creative class for our new super creative room.
