New!! Teens Holiday Sewing Classes (10-15 years)

We're really happy to announce our new series of classes for young people aged 10 to 15 years.

Our Miss Stitch classes for under 10's have been a roaring success but some of the bigger brothers and sisters have been feeling a bit left out. Whilst mums and little siblings have been sewing away, our tweens and teens have been out in the sewing cold.

We have been working on an exciting programme of classes for school holidays ( we know how busy these guys are in school term time) which will start in the Easter Holidays. The classes will stretch our Miss Stitch graduates as they move up and allow our older sewers to develop their dressmaking skills  and try sewing some new techniques like freemotion embroidery. There will also be fun simple sewing classes like hairbands, bunting and pillowcases for a little relaxing holiday sewing creativity.

We're really delighted to welcome a new tutor in Val Dell who is a recently retired GCSE and A Level Textiles teacher who will be joining a multi disciplinary team of Victoria ( Miss Stitch) and Deb and Claire (PlainStitch) who are teaming up to offer a whole variety of sewing classes from dressmaking (skirts, pyjamas) to home accessories ( bunting, lampshades, pillowcases) to fun accessories ( sunglasses cases, bags, cards and badges) etc etc.....
