2014 was a really exciting year for us, we opened our Workroom after a couple of years of life in local halls teaching our patchwork and quilting classes. We've opened the ShopRoom and filled it to the brim with lovely colourful fabric delights. We have welcomed lots of new tutors and classes to PlainStitch, run Retreats, lots of Bees and generally had a lovely time meeting lots and lots of lovely people! We've shopped, hopped, swapped, sewn, smiled, eaten cake and made lots of friends.
2015 promises lots more new deliciousness! Lots of new classes on offer and in development, new tutors and skills and lots and lots of lovely new fabric!
But PlainStitch is just a space, a room. We supply raw materials, fabric and threads, we try and light a little fire of ideas and skills and inspiration - but the most important part of this alchemy is all of you! Your ideas, time and patience, creativity and perseverance is what turns the little brown bags of fabric into amazing precious hand made items. Thank you all for your continued encouragement, kindnesses and support.
This year PlainStitch has been full to the brim with that special creative state of mind. We plan to do lots more of it next year too!
Enjoy our little montage of the last year and get inspired and start writing that project list for 2015!
